When the scent of this wood is noticed, it is
unmistakable. Aromatic Cedar is often found inside chests and closets. Its
fine grain configuration lends to its soft texture. Although it is
considered somewhat brittle, it ranks quite high in stability.
Note: When left unfinished, the aroma
will last for years, but eventually it will diminish. A light sanding with
a fine-grit sandpaper or fine steel wool will revive the distinct
fragrance.
